Captive of the Hitman: A Bad Boy Mafia Romance Novel by Alexis Abbott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
mikhail, a ghost, a hitman. ruthless and unforgiving. sent by the russian mob to kill someone a young woman catches his eye. he doesn't leave loose ends, like ever. but for her? he kills the whole room as she's passed out on the couch and takes her with him.
as alicia wakes up in a place she doesn't recognize, she's met by a man she doesn't know either. but quickly she's informed of her current situation and somehow she knows she should be grateful he hadn't killed her but that doesn't change the fact she's now being held against her will.
as ruthless as mikhail is, how caring he is towards her. feelings fester and grow and it doesn't take long before that spark between them grows rather serious.
when word gets out that there was a witness, mikhail gets put on the spot and everything goes in overdrive. their hide out is compromised and he's willing to go that extra mile to keep her safe, not knowing that things have to get a lot worse before he can start believing everything will be ok.
thrilling, dangerous, hot, .... all the things i've come to expect from alexis abbott. her bad boys really are bad boys, but the woman they meet all manage to bring out some goodness in them! loved it!

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
