Bare Knuckle Bear: Bear Shifter Romance by Ariana Hawkes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
braxton is the one bear that isn't happy their pack has let in humans. after one of the cage fights there had been some uproar about t-shirts with less then positive messages towards the broken hill bears. just one human woman dares to talk to him but no matter what, he's not having it. whether what she says is helpful or not, she's human and that's all there is to it.
their paths cross again when the woman, neve, proves to be a bit more stubborn for his liking and he's not afraid to tell her.
but the troubles at the cage fights only get worse and braxton is told he's the one to sort it all out. he realizes he has no real other option as to reach out to the humans he so despices but he can only think of one he can remotely trust, neve.
after tracking her down, he knows he owes her an apology and after doing his best to convince her, he gets her on board trying to figure out what is going on and what they can do against it from a human, legal point of view.
what they find isn't something neither were expecting; not concerning the troubles at the cage fights, nor with each other.
this second book delves deeper into the workings and going ons of the broken hill bear's pack. danger is lurking just around the corner and once you think you're safe you're proven otherwise. hard choices need to be made before this story can head to it's HEA.
wonderful read!

About Me

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
