I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Scoundrel

Scoundrel Scoundrel by Cass Reynolds
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Draven is watching a fight but gets sidetracked by the beauty of one woman: Diana. Elusive as he is, he battles with his tiger about the woman. his tiger wants her for himself, he doesn’t want to give in, he doesn’t want to “condemn” a woman to being with a shifter. but fate had other plans, specially when after some verbal sparring they still end up together in his apartment. he had looked through her charade and changing tactics he confronts her about it. as it turns out the tiger shifter he’d seen fighting does mean something to her but not in the way he thought he would, it’s her brother and she wants to free him!
convinced he doesn’t want to help her he turns the tables, setting out to hurt her even despite his tiger trying to tell him otherwise. with hurt on her face she leaves and goes back to her traveling companions, explaining all what happened. then Draven steps in out from the dark. (his tiger is putting up a good fight to get his way and woman!)
after some convincing drake comes up with an elaborate plan to get her brother out.
to what lengths does draven have to go? will his tiger get his mate or will draven keep fighting that urge. diana on the other hand is slowly going crazy with the mixed signals she’s getting!
a quick escape story, figuratively and literally! a good addition to the amelie hunt present series!
