My rating: 4 of 5 stars
in the previous book you've seen that reyna has found her mate and decided to stay with her sheriff. this means leaving behind her family and friends back in vegas. her BFF aria feels the loss big time and sets out into the city that never sleeps, hoping to find some distraction to pass the time. she runs into marco, a chef and as she later finds out an unbound wolf, a wolf without a pack. the attraction is there and when she listens to her wolf she has to admit that her wolf made a nice choice when she claims that marco is their fated mate. him being unbound may prove to be a small hurdle to have to jump and part of that story picks up with what is told in previous books and continues in this one.
but then the big question is : how does marco take all this? he never knew there were more like him...
this is only book 2 and i'm happy to know there will be a few more! the main story is stand alone so you won't be kept hanging when it's about the couple. i do like that the secondary story flows well from one book to the other and you see the progress they are making.
if you think book 1 was good then this one can't be overlooked!
