Desert Heart by Anna Lowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
we're back at twin moon ranch and a what a story is given to us!
as the only alpha female, tina has gotten used to her role in the pack. but times are changing with both her brothers having found their true mate, her youngest sister gallivanting somewhere else. when they get notified that their neighboring ranche has a new manager tina and her brother Ty, the pack's Alpha, go to visit, wanting to know who it is.
it takes all her courage to keep acting normal when she finds out who the new manager is. the only person her wolf ever had interest but also the one person she could never really have because he was a full human, not a shifter like herself and mixing the two was a big no no, at least in their pack.
the attraction between feels like they never were apart to begin with, tina isn't so sure if she can say no for the third time. growing up together they had spend a lot of time together, hiding and keeping their relationship a secret. he kept asking her to go with him but she always said no.
will it be the same this time around or are dark powers at work that makes their situation ten, no hundred times worse?
twin moon ranch has had its up and downs over the years but the danger looming over them now is on a whole other level!
if you liked and loved the previous books in this series you can't miss this one! the conflict, the emotions, the heartache, it gets to you every time. once i started reading i had a hard time putting the book away, i just had to know if Tina got her HEA or not! was like a sword of Damocles hanging over your head.

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
