Shades Of Dragon by Catherine Vale
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
abandoned by his dragon mother at the age of ten, he spend many a years fending for himself in the woods. one day his luck ran out when a huge rhino bull is after him and he’s unable to call forth his dragon. then swoops in a huge dragon that saves him. surprised by the kindness of the dragon, he’s even more surprised the dragon takes him with him to his own clan and after petitioning to the clan elders makes him part of that clan. growing up into a handsome man with good values, he hates seeing his mentor grow old and turn more and more into a recluse.
things become dangerous when his mentor asks him to venture into the human territory they’re supposed to be protecting. telling him to find evidence that either the humans are still ok or that the allegations made by a weak human are true : that the village is being ransacked and the humans taken prisoners to be sold as slaves.
it’s then when all things go all kinds of wrong. threatened with being shot on site, he knows he can only return with evidence not even the elders can’t deny. accompanied by the mayor’s daughters he sets out upon the biggest fight in his life.
action packed, romance a plenty, enough drama, a good fight and families re-united. it’s all there in the book you simply need have when you love dragons!

About Me

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
