Rock Hard by B.B. Hamel
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
growing up there were pulled to each other but once they made that step to more, they got crushed when their respective parents told them they were getting married. she went away to college, he stayed and helped his mom, who got diagnosed with cancer, the best he could.
years pass and after graduating she returns home. her stepmom is doing good, her dad is working a lot and her, now, stepbrother looks even better then he did years ago. he's still cocky and now he's even more crude with his comments.
but their attraction from so many years ago is still there. question will be how long will it take before they give in? who will give in first?
but that's not all that matters. it's clear from the get go he's hiding a lot of things but little bit by little bit he comes clean. she couldn't have been more surprised.
will they be able to battle through these difficulties? will they make it at all? he wants to leave the last few years behind him but he'll have to do a lot of dangerous things to establish that. how dangerous can it get with the mob involved, right?
a tale of coming together and conquering a lot of hardships. good intentions go a long way but it's hard setting things right!
a story that shows that not all things are good and nice, it's a bad bad world out there with even badder people in it! but will good conquer evil? find out when you pick up your copy of this book.

About Me
- Mokkelke/Tanja
- @ home, behind my computer, Belgium
- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
