Bossy: A Stepbrother Romance: by Kim Linwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
a one night stand but one neither is able to really forget about. not even exchanging names.
months later they meet again. as it turns out he's the son of the man her mother plans to marry in a few weeks! and he's her new temp boss during her summer break before she goes back to college.
it's sizzling from the second they get together again. he manages to push her every single button and it riles her up. when he starts with a practical joke, all bets are off when she plans retaliation.
not to mention the case they want her to work on. she's supposed to represent the same firm that drove her father to commit suicide... it's one big argument they can't seem to agree on.
things come to a boil and they react in the best of ways, ending up naked together. but that's not the end of everything. she's still battling with her ex, the one that prompted her braveness to have their one night stand to begin with. from texting to calling he's now moved things up and is blackmailing her with a video.
so much happening that there is so much that can go wrong. emotions are all over the place. how do you fight feelings that are now said to be forbidden, now their parents have married? will the ex get the outcome he wants?
even with the hint of forbidden hanging above them, and all the issues they have to work through, it seems they might come to some understanding eventually. how? you'll have to read for yourself. there are steaming hot parts in this book, just as much as there is time for goofing off and other times for some serious drama!
a very nice read

About Me

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
