angus is number 2 of the rescue bear squad. lately he's been getting restless and his bear is urging him to find a mate and settle down, make some cubs (with a lot of practicing!) and just enjoy live. when he signs up for the dating app geek bear has made, he's more then thrilled and surprised to find a fine looking woman on there. looking at her digital image alone has his bear on high alert. could it really be this beautiful woman could be their other half?
penny is at a crossroad in her life. working as a bookkeeper for a russian company isn't turning out to be as safe as she tough it would be. little thing start to jump out at her in the books but they all get explained. but something inside of her is telling things aren't as they seem. one night at home she's contemplating her options. she starts toying with the idea to sign up to a shifter dating app. once shifters weren't a thing of legend anymore and after the war they were all heralded as hero's, handsome bulky man who loved true and forever. always being the cautious one she's tired of that and her current situation isn't helping either. putting on her big birl panties she signs up and barely a few minutes later she's already contacted. the man looking back at her is huge, but there is something kind in his eyes. without hesitating she agrees to meet up the next day, calculating it only half a day worth of driving and she can call in sick. it would get her far away from her russian bosses.
when angus and penny meet it's like fireworks going off but angus is having super control over his bear, last thing he wants is his potential mate running off! penny is surprised at how at ease she is around him, how easy things go, a feeling like having known each other for years instead of just having met trough an app the day before.
as the two get to know each other better, other factors are playing up and things aren't as safe as they seem!

i'm really loving these rescue bears. i can't wait till we get to read about geek bear, remember his constant remarks he's not looking for a mate? i bet she's out there and she'll be a firecracker!!
