I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Taking Care

Taking Care Taking Care by Devyn Morgan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

jason had moved away to make it in the big city. in doing so he missed a lot of what went on with his family so when he returns and finds out his parents plan to put his grandpa in a nursing home he's dead set against it! he thinks they're just dropping him off because they're tired of taking care of him . that something he can do too! he has an idealistic view of the whole situation and doesn't belief any of them who tell him that his gramps is going downhill and not in the best of ways.
the male nurse that helped his parents and is now helping gramps in the nursing home tells him the same things. also that taking care of him isn't easy. gramps has good that but has bad days more often.
as jason takes on the task of proving he can take care of the old man, richie, the male nurse, is there to help and guide him. but between the two young men grows more then friendship, they're route isn't without bumps and hurt feelings and gramp's care takes priority.
will jason start to see what everyone else already knows or will he stay stubborn and risk losing everything?

another sweet, emotional read by devyn morgan. if you enjoy his other short stories then you will adore this one too. it's sweet emotional and has a HEA!
