Can't Get You Off My Mind by Emma Roman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
we're off with a new series set in Somewhere Texas. here and there you'll come across a familiar face or place.
when their grandfather died, not one of them thought he could still make their lives a living hell. in order to get their share of their inheritance he wants his grandsons to find a wife AND have a baby within ONE YEAR!
Roark doesn't like this, not one bit. he doesn't want a wife, he doesn't need a wife, he can live without one. however he's also not willing to give up the family business he's worked so hard for.
when fate brings Zoe accidentally into his life, Roark starts plotting. maybe zoe is the solution to everything. as the days goes on his interest in her grows. what his heart already knows his brains doesn't want to acknowledge and when he makes an offer he's sure she can't refuse, she does the opposite and walks out.
sadly someone in zoe's family has a turn for the worse and rethinking everything she sees no other way as to go back to roark and ask if the deal is still valid...
how will these two work through things? i loved his brothers in this story, they have a wonderful dynamic between them and i can't wait to read how each of them will deal with the stipulations of their inheritance hihi.
if you love and like Somewhere TX and their inhabitants, you'll love these just as much and are a must read!

About Me

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
