Alien Commander's Bride by Scarlett Grove
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lexi is furious with her father. falling victim to the alien tech drug, her father owned money to the wrong people. that man now wants her younger sister as payment. without her knowledge her father signs her up to be a draconian wife, hoping to get a lot of cash if she's found a match.
Furious as she is, she sees no other way as to go ahead with it because else her sister has a worse fate then her own. when she meets up with her draconian match she has her doubts about him eventhough he tries his best to make her comfortable. when she flat out tells him she's here against her will she also tells him how earth is doing, how their alien tech is destroying what is left of it. as luck would have it her draconian match is THE commander and he takes what she said to heart and starts investigating.
is this the start of something beautiful or will she keep on fighting that little spark that is starting to grow inside her heart?
we meet the draconians for the first time a few years after they're visiting earth to find them human females to match dna with, all this to secure the survival of their race. they didn't think earthlings would have changed much over a few millennia, they were wrong!
thrilling story about how an alien race landed on earth, thrilling and captivating how two different beings can come together.

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)
