I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Alien Fighter's Woman

Alien Fighter's Woman Alien Fighter's Woman by Scarlett Grove
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tabby sees no other option as to enlist in the draconian lottery. she wants to get away from her cheating, drug dealing ex boyfriend and sees this as her way out. she sees no further then the luxuries that will be bestowed on her, the designer clothing she'll be able to wear. in fact she comes over as being a bit selfish. the draconian that gets matched up with her isn't really helping either, he more or less has to drag her along a secret mission, a mission that turns out to be one where she can help. if he would allow her....
another bride is paired up but this time it takes a bit more effort to get a perfect match. i had a bit of a harder time to see through er selfishness, yes her situation wasn't ideal but how she looked at the pairing wasn't ideal either even though she went willingly.

still this was a good, fast paced story in the draconian world and i can't wait for more of them (maybe even wish for one of my own ;) )
