I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Review: Adaira

Adaira Adaira by Ariana Hawkes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

ariana is doing it on purpose! many times i've hinted that reading Tamika's story would be so good! but no.... she keeps amazing us with other shftr app stories that keep on getting better. adeira's story is no exception to that! but we're closing in since adeire is tamika's niece. she came to town hoping tamika could set her up with one of the shifters that use the app too. she'd love one who can handle her and her temperament.
there is one bear that tops the chart, or rather list. he's a mountain of a man, who lives on the mountain. to get them together isn't an easy feat. first he shows up late, which in turns makes her think she's been stood up. after a very apologetic all from him and explanation, she feels a bit ashamed. it takes him almost a full day to come down from the mountain on foot. giving him a second change and not adverse to some hiking herself, they agree she'll make the trek up the mountain.
only she doesn't reach his cabin, she's tricked into believing a stranger is the person she's meeting, only it turns out to be a cocky alpha wolf.
it's the onset for more misunderstandings but they quickly get solved and she's rescued by her mountain bear.
but if we think it's easy sailing from then on out we're wrong!

with a bit of drama thrown in the mix, this shftr story once more sets the tone for an excellent series. some soul-searching (or digging) is needed to let fate have her way!
