update. Chapter is finished, I hope, and is currently waiting in Jazz' mailbox to get her stamp of approval. Then I can send it off for final editing.
YAY me, then I can go back to Mia and Chris. I'm pretty sure they're done hibernating now and want some fresh air and stretch their limbs!!

- I'm a rookie writer enjoying the flow of words sprouting out of my fingers. Sometimes it goes easy, at other times it's a real struggle. I love and crave any kind of feedback, good or bad. I write when I can, but a husband, two kids, 4.2 cats (aging from 15 years to 4 months) do take up most of my time. Yet I found the time to try out something I never thought I was good at. I started writing. I came to love it and enjoy the new friendships I've made with fellow writers I simply adore (well I like the writers, but adore their work *grins*)

Hiatus or something ...
*bonks head against the table* against the keyboard would leave to many dents behind!
I had so hoped that after these holidays I would have loads of time to write and make good progress. I started off good, posted the last SIW chapter and then the mind went blank, really blank. The story, or rather chapters, I wanted and still want to write are there. But I'm missing the flow. I started a few time to only find myself simply deleting it, time after time.
If I see potential in a scene I'll save it, if not "delete" is the way to go.
As for Mia and Chris, they're still resting after their hot session. No matter if some felt it was a filler chapter, what matters to me is the joy (oh how many breaks I didn't need myself to cool off!) I had writing. I wanted them to have a moment just for the two of without having to deal with revelations, family and what not. There is enough going on for them in such a short period of time, that they deserved their moment.
Only plus I did have is that I manages to sort out some back ground on a few things to help the main story and characters in "A New World". That's good isn't it? No no, I won't share those, you'll get to read about them eventually in the story ;-) With some luck their latest chapter will be done this week, so cross anything you can cross and hope for the best!
Think I'll end my ramblings for now. I hope you're reassured somewhat that I haven't forgotten about you all. I'm trying my best to get any kind of writing done!

Goodbye Erotica Republica
Notice of Closure
We have made the difficult decision to shut Erotica Republic down. Upkeep of the site was continuing to take more and more time and effort, but due to other obligations and ventures we felt we could not give it the proper attention it deserves.
To our authors, we wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for contributing to the site and making it what it was. It would be nothing without you. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.
To our members and visitors, thank you for visiting. We hope you enjoyed the site while you had the chance.
It's been a fun couple of years and we will remember Erotica Republic fondly.
